Having launched a very successful virtual film festival in 2021 after the global pandemic hit the film industry in countless ways, the 2nd edition of the UK Film Review Festival returns in November 2021 with a selection of incredible short films, indie features, and documentaries.
Judged by the team of film critics at UK Film Review, the UKFRF is an event that aims to support indie filmmakers across the globe by giving them a COVID-proof event which takes place on their sister VOD platform, UK Film Channel. Over three days, a roster of genre films will be released to the public, giving viewers across the world access via a eTicket-only system.
What’s more, half of the proceeds from eTicket sales go directly to the filmmakers whose films have been officially selected for the event. There is also a £200 cash prize for the “Best in Fest” movie, as well as other film festival perks such as official selection laurels, award plaques, and online distribution deals up for grabs.
Submissions are still currently open for the UK Film Review Festival 2021, and filmmakers can submit their short, features, or documentaries via the FilmFreeway website – https://filmfreeway.com/UKFilmReview
