HOW MANY SCRIPTS CAN I SUBMIT?
You can submit as many scripts as you like, there is no limit!
DO YOU TAKE ENTRIES FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES?
We welcome and encourage scripts from all corners of the world. As long as your script is written in English, it doesn’t matter where you are submitting from.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE AND NOTIFICATION DATE?
All deadlines and notification dates can be found on each submission platform. You will also see this information on our main competition page, and after submitting we will keep you updated via email.
SHOULD I INCLUDE MY CONTACT DETAILS ON THE TITLE PAGE?
We will accept a title page with your contact details however we do prefer that you leave them off, as we judge your script anonymously.
CAN I RESUBMIT AN UPDATED DRAFT AFTER INITIAL SUBMISSION?
You can update your script one additional time up until the late deadline on 24th July, so we advise writers to be absolutely sure which draft they want to resubmit. Especially writers that opt in for coverage halfway through the competition, if you want to update your script I would be cognizant of your one chance.
IS MY SCRIPT SAFE IN THE HANDS OF SCREENWRITERS NETWORK?
Your screenplay is handed to one of our trusted and heavily vetted readers, who sign non-disclosure agreements before reading any material. On top of that, title pages and other writer information is removed and hidden from readers so they are not able to see any information on the writer including gender, age or location.
HOW DO I KNOW THAT MY ENTRY HAS BEEN RECEIVED TO SCREENWRITERS NETWORK?
You will receive an email immediately to confirm that your order has been placed. If you don't receive this then please check your junk mail and if you are still unable to locate then please contact us for confirmation.
CAN I ADD MUSIC OR IMAGES TO MY ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTS WITH MY SCRIPT SUBMISSION?
We do not accept scripts with any accompanying supplemental materials. As we judge are scripts based on the industry standard 8-point marking system, this keeps a standard and fair judging criteria.
