Do you like to work alone on scripts or with others?
I will sometimes write a script 100% by myself, but there are times where I bring people in right away to help mold the movie a bit more. What is your preference? Do you like to write your screenplays by yourself, or with others?
I feel like this was already asked, but I'll bite. Of course I would work with others if needed. Eventually you're going to get a slew of people looking and altering your script, so technically you're not alone anyway. I like working with people, but there are times where I don't want anything changed, so I just do all the screenwriting.
I currently work alone and am happy. However, I like to see where things have been co-created and those partnerships continue into other films. I wouldn't mind this one day, it would be cool to have someone to bounce ideas off.
It's often (not always) the difference between feature vs TV. TV is usually written with a 'writers room', whereas features are often (as I said, not always) written by a single person.
I'd say that if you want to write for TV, you should be prepared for group work.
